Anthony Scibilia

Anthony Scibilia's lyrical approach to photography manifests itself especially well in his sensitive, yet comprehensive coverage of Medieval, Early Christian, Romanesque and Gothic places of worship. The collection includes works of architecture, sculpture, stained glass, mosaic, fresco, and views of urban space that date from Classical antiquity, the Early Christian/Medieval periods, the Renaissance and the Baroque, and the Neoclassical and Modern periods. An accomplished pianist, as well as art historian, Anthony Scibilia has lectured and published extensively and his photographs and images have been acquired by institutions of higher learning from the American Midwest to all along the East Coast.
