CDR-1148: SR Set: The Bayeux Tapestry

The Bridgeman Archive offers over a hundred images illustrating the unique historical document telling of the Norman conquest of England. Embroidered in wool on a 70 meter long strip of linen, the 'tapestry' depicts the events leading up to the invasion of Anglo-Saxon England by Duke William of Normandy, and the subsequent death of Harold Godwinson, in 1066 (May, 2010)
